As the title says, my heated steering wheel has recently decided it’s going to get hot enough to burn the leather/steering wheel right at the 12 o’clock point. It burns to touch and you can smell it.
anyone else experienced this? Do I need to get a new steering wheel or is there a module or something else that may need replaced?

You probably will need to replace the steering wheel, as a hot element usually means a short has been created, and the resistance of the heating element has been reduced.
More current, more heat.
Good news is the driver module seems to be pumping the current just fine!

are you able to DM me? I guess my account is too new and it won’t let me DM you. Thanks!
