30k service..other options??

My truck just turned 27k and I'm considering dealer recommended 30k service ( $550.00 ouch!!)..Tranny flush, coolant flush, injectors flushed/decarbonized and of course oil change/filter and fuel filter replacement...I have an extended warranty for the next 7 years or 90k ( I think).. Would you guys recommend doing this thru the dealer or thru my favorite reputable shop??? Other options ??? Thanks in advance!!

The only thing on that list you can't do is the Tranny Flush, which a good tranny shop will do correctly (Dropping pan etc, replacing tranny filter etc) The rest you can do yourself for cheaper + you can grease the chassis etc, maybe even some wheel bearings, but time is money.......Just my 2 Cents....I have a 2002 Mazda Protege getting to that point, I think I will opt. for the dealer just for warranty reasons further down the road...

That estimate sounds pretty high. I'm getting to the 30k mark and my dealer is supposed to do it for about $300. You might want shop around and get some more quotes?

I would deffinately do the tranny fluid and filter, oil change and check the air filter. Lube the front end if it has any fittings. A fuel filter wouldn't hurt either. If it is running good and you add a bottle of injector cleaner at every oil change, they shouldn't need to be cleaned.
