Would anyone happen to know of a great aftermarket replacement for the flexible panel that needs to be removed for the oil change on a 2021 Powerboost? I'm getting tired of removing the four 8mm bolts and having the thing fall into my face every time. I've been looking on line for a decent, reasonably priced alternative, however I haven't been very successful.
My current plan is to buy an OEM replacement that hasn't been torn up yet and use the existing one as a guinea pig/template to figure out exactly where I need to make the access hole then install the new one. I only need a small access place since I upgraded the drain plug from OEM to a stahlbus oil drain valve…
I know on the F150 Tremor, many of us have put in the Raptor transmission skid plate. It's affordable, steel and has a small panel to remove to drain the oil, but it's still 3 bolts. Really, you can just leave that panel off and try it. It's just for sound dampening. If you don't notice a difference, then who cares?
Thank you for the input, I ended up going with the Talons Garage https://talonsgarage.com/products/fo...nverter-shield after reading about the F-150 as being one the highest targeted vehicles for catalytic converter theft.
