Tcu location

I'm having a difficulty with my sct x4 programmer, and they are requesting that I send in my ecu and my tcu. However, I can't locate my tcu location in the 2017 f250. Could you kindly assist me?

Google search came up with this...

The TCM is located above the drivers front wheel well shield below the inner fender. The drivers inner wheel well has to be removed to access.

If it’s the same as a F150, it’s behind the passenger rear seat back, secured to the back panel

Yes, that’s what I meant, it also controls the transfer case if I’m not mistaken

TCM is Transmission Control Module
TCCM is Transfer Case Control Module.

A tuner company would want PCM/ECM and TCM.
TCM is bolted to a bracket that’s bolted to the outside, top of the frame rail under the drivers door area.

no They said they wanted the tcu and ecu to figure it out. I keep telling them that the tunner is not working because it doesn't read the truck info or my car info. So we're just sending emails back and forth. It took them five days before they finally decided it was bad.

In this case they are calling the TCM a Transmission Control Unit, there is no way they would want your Telematics Control Unit
