Looping refrigerant lines?
I'm looking to remove the rear heater/ac unit from my '96 E150. I've got someone coming out to evacuate the refrigerant, but I don't think they're gonna be looping the line so I'll likely need to do that myself.
Is there a special connector or hose I should use, since the line will be under pressure when I refill the refrigerant? Also, is it fine to do the loop at the junction behind the driver's seat (pictured above) rather than at the engine?
Thanks!

Remove the caps (usually thin aluminum) and turn the square headed valves to open or close the ports
If he is sucking the freon out into a recycler, shut those valves when he is done
Then he can finish the evacuation
If there is no freon in the system now, just shut those valves now and you will be ready for him
