Since 2017 I have purchased 7 new vehicles from Ford - 3 Bronco Sports and 4 Superdutys. I am partial to the Lariat trim, and as most of you know, what you get for the 2025 model year is considerably less than the 2024s and years prior. Base price for the 25s has increased despite Ford excluding what used to be included in certain packages. But I bought a 25 anyway, because I was too late to order a 24, because my dealer treats me right and because I can't help myself. With each new Ford purchased, add 42000 points to your Ford Pass rewards - good for a couple oil changes anyway. But wait a minute - not anymore. As a token of appreciation, Ford has recently reduced rewards points to 31000 for new vehicle purchases. Granted, not a huge deal in the overall 70k+ you're dishing out. Just a symbolic gesture on Ford's part letting you, the customer, know how much your business is appreciated.
Doesn't surprise me. Loyalty programs are dying or diminishing right & left. Manufacturers are pulling all of these costs into their P&L and cutting wherever they can. Sucks but it's happening everywhere, cuts or reductions in rewards.
How do those points work? My truck gets here this week, I had heard about the points, I was planning to use them towards 4 TPMS sensors ($280) for my snow tire set up. If I get 31,000 points, how many dollars does that equate to, and when do they show up as usable with respect to when I write the check for the truck?
I am heavily into particular airline and hotel loyalty programs. I remember the hotel increasing the points to get a free room, and to create a smokescreen to make customers sympathetic to the increase, they reminded us that they hadn't done that for several years. Yeah, but their paid nights prices increased!

shop.ford.com and look at items. There should be a points required listed along with the price.
Might be petty but looking to order a '25 KR 450 and boy did they really put the screws to the loyal customers this go round...
Hopefully it's at least good for my stock holdings...
As they are now, they are nearly unaffordable. Had I not been able to get what I owed on my last truck, I would not have been able to afford this new one, AND I went down a trim from Platinum, those were out of my price range permanently. Pay more, get less is the new motto for everything these days. Funny thing is I like this Lariat Ultimate more than I liked my last Platinum, not missing a thing.

Not sure where you got the 42,000 points, but for the 3 SuperDutys I purchased in 2022, 2023, and 2024, it was 75,000 points each time! They were all diesel, so maybe that's why?
75k points was for the diesel since they cost more to service. 42k was for the gas.
Thanks Ford. Heck of a job…
Let’s up the price of a Lariat and take away the 7.3 and replace it with the 6.8. Let’s take away the automatic telescoping steering wheel and do away with the easy entry/exit also. These things cost enough already. They say inflation has peaked and has gone down a little but yet nothing has came down in price. In fact, prices just keep going up. On everything.
I like how they switched to a smaller front axle for 2023 and 2025 they switched to the smaller 10R100 transmission on non Tremor 7.3 F250s.
front axle is a non issue. They’re plenty strong for 3/4 & 1 ton use. I know because I’ve been using them as hard as any of my 17-22 trucks and they’re solid.
But I’m not buying a gas trucks with a 10r100 for sure. Either diesels or a 350 7.3 with the same old 10 speed I’m used to. Simple way around that one in my opinion.
The parts desk person said I would get 42,000 points for my 2025 Platzilla, but then again, they couldn't pull up my truck to see which TPMS units. They said half a penny per point. That make makes 42,000 worth $210. Sound about how the program works? Do purchases have to be something specific in a catalog of aftermarket stuff, or can it be any ford part number? If it was catalog, that sounds like employee service recognition awards, work somewhere 40 years, and pick from a catalog with stupid chit like candle sticks, mantle clock, or a globe.
Instead of each point being $.005, they should have made it $.0005 and given 420,000 points. Optics are everything!
Ford use to have a nice rewards system. You earned a free oil change after so many services, or $ spent and it paid for itself. This system does suck. I did get the gooseball kit using points, think it was 50,000 points, but was during a christmas sale, otherwise it was something like 75,000 points.
On the website it was still showing the higher numbers for purchasing, but they dealers had already been told they wouldn't be giving that much. Not that its a purchasing decision but seeing one number and getting a different is kind of a slap in the face.
