1978 F600
Looking to get any info on my F600 was a great barn find with only 48000 of miles. Trying to figure out how to look up my Vin as it’s only 11 digits. Any info would be great I need to find a new carburetor as I can’t get it running again after the initial drive home. Vin: F60DVAJ0251

F60 = F600 gas, 4x2
D = 330 2V XD FT gas V8
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
AJ0251 = 1978 numerical series, October 1977 production
Axle and trans and other info are on the warranty plate on the driver door.
Your carb should be a Holley 2300 series, with a governor or sitting on a governor.
Rebuild kits are easily available and much cheaper than trying to find a new carb.
Do you have spark?
How does the fuel tank look? This could be a clogged filter if you have a tank full of rust.
