I have just ordered my 2004 F-150 Heritage. I had never owned a Ford until I purchased a 2001 Ford Escape. I had nothing but trouble from this vehicle and cannot wait till it is gone.
I have wanted a truck for all the days I can remember.
Could anyone tell me what to expect when my truck arrives to me in Itlay?
I ordered the F150 Heritage XLT, 4X4, 8 foot bed, Medium Toreador Red with the medium graphite interior.

You can expect it to look EXACTLY like the 2003 F-150, because for all intent and purposes, that is what it really is. That is neither good nor bad.....just the truth.
Also, I have heard that the dark torreador red metallic paint on the 2004 F-150 trucks built in the Norfolk, VA and Kansas City, MO plants is more "red" than 2003's dark torreador red metallic paint. Either way, it should look really good with the graphite interior,

I have seen the look of the new bodies on the 2004 f150 and think they are nice, I am just hoping that my decision for the Heritage will please me.
I have liked the look of the F150 for the last couple of years and think that this truck will be perfect.
The only reason I went with the Heritage is due to the fact is was a little cheaper that the new model, and I need to save as much money as possible.
If anyone has any ideas for aftermarket accessories for my baby, please let me know.

For what it's worth, I had a 2001 F-150 Supercrew XLT 4X4 OFF ROAD. It was by far the best truck have I ever owned. Just bought a 2004 Supercrew & it handles better than the 2001, but is not quite as comfortable to ride in. The seats don't have much cush, & you sit a lot closer to the floor. I like the look of the new interior, (still trying to get used to the exterior), but when you take a close look & compare the two, I think the quality of the old body style is better. I think you'll like the Heritage. Good luck!
