Hey,
I just picked up an '83 Ford with a 370 and don't know much about the motor. It's in a bus an bolted up to an Allison 4 speed automatic tranny. I was wondering if a 351C would bolt up to this tranny, or if that type of a swap would be impractical. Also, I wanted to know if there are any performance parts out there for a 370, such as headers. thanks.
a 351 Cleveland will not bolt up, for it uses a small block bellhousing. you could always bolt up a 429 or 460. but headers and intakes from any big block will bolt up to a 370.
