Correct Tire Size
CAN SOMEONE INFORM ME OF THE PROPER SIZE TIRE FOR 1979 F250 4X4 . THIS TRUCK HAS 410 GEARS AND WITH THE TIRES THAT ARE ON IT NOW ITS A CHORE TO MAINTAIN 50 MPH, AND I KNOW THE SPEEDOMETER IS WAY OUT OF WHACK TOO. THANKS

I think you should be able to get away with 235/85r16. You should have 16" wheels. I have seen many trucks with these set-ups and there wasn't any problems. If I remember right the height of the tires were 31".
