I usually hangout in the 67/72 section of this site. But my daily driver is a 2011 Ford F-150 2WD Supercrew cab with the Lariat package. Today when I was pulling into a parking lot. I had to backup to get square to the parking space. When I shifted to reverse and got into the space. I noticed on my gauge cluster the symbol of a open ended wrench. And in the lower right hand corner was the OK button. Does anybody here know what all of this means.? The truck is 302 automatic with 147K plus miles and is due for a oil change fairly soon. It has been completely trouble free. I'm not the OG owner. I've had the truck since 2021. Any help/advice would be great. Thanks.

Most common cause on a 2wd would be the ETB. Need to get the codes pulled to be sure but it's a very common failure.
Thanks for your quick reply. Looks like I need to go see my mechanic Monday morning. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will just need to be cleaned and not replaced. Until then is it safe to drive or will it leave stranded somewhere.?

When the ETB fails completely, typically what happens is the engine drops to idle and no matter how much you press the accelerator pedal, it stays at idle.
