Studding non studded tires?

You would have to devise a pretty complicated drill bit setup to be able to do this. If you look at tire studs, the part that goes into the tire has a flange at the bottom that is larger in diameter than the stud to retain the stud in the tread. So your drill bit would have to be able to cleanly cut the rubber to the diameter of the stud and also cut out the appropriately sized notch at the bottom of the hole for that flange to sit in. I am pretty sure that what you are seeking to do is either impossible or extremely expensive.
