Trying to start

Hey , just changed a starter, re wired ignition. Its a 67 f100.
it seems like i get a reaction but truck wont start.
do you think its a carb issue?

Reaction meaning it tries to fire up?
put a little gas down the carb and see if it fires up.

By reaction, you mean it's cranking (turning over) but doesn't catch? Starter fluid works as an alternative to gas if it's turning over but not starting for a possible gas issue.

But you just re-did the ignition so electrical is a consideration, if the gas check doesn't give a result it might be worth verifying that you're getting spark at the plugs. If you have a spare plug lying around, you could pull one of the plug wires, hook it to the spare plug, ground the plug and have someone else crank the engine and see if you get spark. It's not a bad idea to wear gloves.
