Then there is the transmission tunnel to deal with - the C6 is a lot bigger than an A4LD. Are you going to keep the SD axle width as they are or cut them down?

Is that better?

I am aware of all that. None of that is a worry for me. This is a custom build and I am comfortable with it.

My intent of this thread was to figure out how I can put a overdrive transmission between my big block and 205 transfer case.

yeah it’s a little truck with some big *** drive train. how can you not like that😎

and yeah the axles will stay full width 👍

And once again thanks for the input from everyone, I now have a path forward to see if I want to proceed with an E4OD.

I am comfortable with this build, it’s not my first, I just didn’t know where to go with the tranny, I am an old guy, old school, I don’t know all the tech stuff, that’s why I’m here, this is my retirement toy, thanks guys

Go for it. I'm Hip & love pics.

You'll need a TPS to bolt on your carb to go with the controller. May have missed any mention.

E4 can be built with almost any C6 HiPo part that made them indestructible in performance applications.

Thanks again everybody I appreciate the advice and knowledge.

I’ve had a few builds but this one might be my best and possibly in my last.

My wife is not doing so well so the build is not my top priority

but when I get stuff done I’ll be glad to share it with you👍
