My first time here. I have a 2017 F350. It has a coolant leak but it only leaks when it is not running. I am pretty sure I found where it is leaking but am not sure what the part is called. Also I am not a mechanic but I am not completely helpless either. If this is something that would be better off for a mechanic to fix please let me know before I bite off more than I can chew. Any help or a point in the right direction is appreciated.
Good to see you here Grandude. It looks like the assembly should be replaceable. Looks messy and draining 1st.
Go up to Ford with the pictures, they can offer advice on the parts. Something most likely stressed the area. Pothole ?
I have plenty of them here. Front wheel bearings are my cost.

thank you. I do put alot of stress on the truck. I use it to pull campers all over the country. So a lot of miles with heavy loads.
I ended up taking it in to a dealership and had them fix it because I had no where to drain the coolant. The part was about $70 plus a couple of o rings that needed replaced. With labor it ended up being about $275 Thank you for the advice.
