sorry I thought I could help but my kit says 57 to 64/ It's a speedway ## 916-31985 it shows the parts you need what rotors etc the kit is 2 gold color plates and nuts and bolts. if you ***** it works let me know
no it Has the 2 plates you bolt to your axle them yo chose the rest yhe sheet with it tells what calibers to get what pads etc. just a cheaper kit if you can get rotors and calipers local;
Willwood kit bolted right on to my 66 f100. I did the conversion earlier this year. DO not need to change the king pins either if they are still in good shape.
If you've got the money the Wilwood kit is first rate. If you're on a budget like me go the Speedway adapter route and buy everything to go with it from Rock Auto. My '64 F100 had the Speedway setup on when I bought the truck and it works great.
I guess you are looking for a 5 lug brake system. If you have a F250 with 8 lug you need to get a donor which came with disc brakes (e.g. 1967 and up).
Depending on what your other plans are for suspension etc... cpp makes a complete kit with new spindles, king pins etc. I found them on ebay and used it on my 65. It's not on the road yet, but it went together nicely.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a long time ago, before the interwebs, I did a disc brake swap on my 66, with parts from a 74... IIRC, the kingpins were the same F100/250..? I now have another 66, an F250 and I'm debating on doing something on it.
Thanks for the reply must be a difference between 65 and 61 I do like the way that lines right up. If I thought the bolt pattern was the same I'd look at it, thats my problem now these uniy frames are so thin don't want to do a lot of drilling.
