I have a 78 250 that had the 16.5s. I just recently bought a set of used 16s so I could find better and more affordable tires, when the time comes. When I mounted the rims on, the lugs sunk far enough in I couldn't get a socket on to tighten them all the way. Did I get wrong fitting rims, or do I need different lug nuts? How do I know if they're 6.5s or 170s? Would 170s fit over 6.5 studs?
