I had 2 upper oil pan leaks 10,000 miles apart on the 16 that I had. Most of the time the oil pan leaks were on the driver side on the front part of the oil pan. If that picture is in that spot it probably is the notorious leak. There were a few timing cover leaks in that area also.
Not really, the 17+ section gets all types of questions related to the 17+ SD, including mechanical, engine related questions. The 6.7l section can sometimes be better and generate more feedback.
