9" Identification

Can anyone help me Identify a Ford 9" center section I have..

By FAR, not an expert, but visually it looks like you actually have a 1962-1966 8" center section.
I believe the case webbing you normally see on a 9" is missing & it looks like an 8".

Thanks G2IC, I think your right. I do not think anyone wants this, It probably needs rebuilt. It will probably go in the junk steel trailer

It has 42 teeth on ring gear and 15 teeth on pinion. Divides out to 2,80 gear ratio. Is this correct?

Yes, if your tooth count is correct it should be a 2.80
