December BS 24' Thread

Welcome visitors to the monthly Mississippi Chapter BS Thread... where we mostly discuss the vagaries of our weather.
If you are a MS Ford truck (any year, vintage) owner, please say hello & especially if you are interested in having the coveted chapter membership added to your FTE status.
If you're in a neighboring state/region or just like us, please feel free to join in & post.

We love projects. We love pictures of projects. If you know of a automotive event close by that may have slipped our notice, please tell us about it.
If you're out & about in the state, say where & when & we can do IRL for a cup of coffee or cool beverage. If you need advice/info/helping hand, speak up & we'll give it a shot.

For all who love the cold, it's here.

My gas bill would have been just fine as it was through Nov.

Hope 'all got all your shopping done early, I ain't.

Be safe all.

Good morning David, Thomas, Mike and Mike..I thought I better get in here and grab a seat before it's standing room only..
Been getting quite a bit of snow lately and won't be roaming to far from the homestead for awhile..

Hi John. If it weren't for you, my good man, I'd just talk to myself & I'm very thankful for your participation.

And others as well, but heck-fire... a Canadian???

My latest project is a Mrk III 5.0/5.8 hybrid manifold.

Something I can do mindless grinding on.

Better than whittling or drinking by one's self.

I just received the Vintage Air kit for this project and installing enough of it to see how to arrange everything under the dash and where to mount the wiring harness on the firewall for the Holley Sniper 2..
Yesterday I had to relocate some of the holes in the firewall I welded up to start the install of the Vintage Air bracket..

There's a guy from Perth in the OBS forum with a death trap flexie-flyer looking for frame parts.

Good lord you guys got it bad.

Will you fire it off this winter if you get kitted out?

Welcome to another edition of wonderful, wacky weather in the Sip' as some call it these days...

70* at midnight in December with the RH a drippy (and I do mean drippy) 100%

Hope your crima' plans & prep are running smooth.

Good luck to all, be safe.

Not sure if I mentioned I ran into a snag with the A/C unit. The defrost duct was interfering with the unit and had to make some changes to the duct..

Love people who say "I don't need no stinkin' heat"...

Till you try & keep a windshield dry & clear at all times of the year.

I'm surprised that a heater was an option at one time, like some guys who don't put wipers on their vehicles..lol
I don't believe in trailer queens..

I love the arms on my OBS & like vintage.

Keep the spindle lubed & they pop off with min effort.

Want to run'em off for a cleaner look, go ahead. You can even put a rubber over them.

Thomas & I been looking for a way to make them fold back for cleaning & keep the mount style.

Time is winding down for Crima' prep.

I have traveling to do that has nothing to do with holidays.

Going for day trip/carpentry work in AR today.

Had 5 inches of wet heavy snow and +2° c today , turned to a drizzle rain and now back to snow again. It's starting to pile up here now..
