Header Decision
CAN ANYONE OUT THERE TELL ME WHAT BRAND OF HEADER WOULD BE GOOD FOR ME? I HAVE A 1985 F250 SUPERCAB 2WD 460 THAT I WOULD LIKE TO PUT HEADERS ON BUT AM NOT SURE WHICH BRAND I SHOULD GO WITH. I AM WONDERING ABOUT CLEARANCE AND EASE OF THE INSTALL AS WELL AS THE QUALITY OF THE HEADER ITSELF.

regretably, with people living in the salt belt, i have yet to see headers, even coated last for more than two seasons. here in az we have another problem, and thats the heat. i have had my share of both coated and no coated headers crack, in all brands. plus the excess heat cause severe flange warpage. even in 3/8.. i have learned to keep it good but cheap. this will save alot of greif of throwing a 350 set of headers away. that is the reason for the choice of headman headers. i like the hookers but at 200 for a set of non coated, that wont last any longer, doesn't do it for me. just my opinion on a sticky subject...
