1979 grill conversion

First off I did several searches and came up with no matches.

What all parts are needed to convert a 75' to a 79'? I know I need the grill surround, headlight buckets, marker lights, headlights, ext.... but does the entire front core support need to be changed or will the 79' stuff bolt to the 75'? Thanks for any help. I have always liked the 79's (I had one for a while) but my 75' is in too good of shape to sell so I want to turn it into a 79'.

Keep searching the info is here. AFAIK, since I have never done it, the job is almost a straight bolt up. Try some different search terms and watch your dates etc.

I tried searching as far back (1 year) as it will let me using 1979 grill and just grill and all kinds of other terms. It usually came up with no matches or something unrelated that just had those words in it. I must not know how to do it right because this is what I usually come up with - nothing. Thanks for the reply though I was also thinking that it is all bolt up but just don't know about the core support.

Well no wonder my searching wasn't working. Thanks for the link Txquadhunter24 I just didn't know that grill was spelled grille when it was on the front of a truck. Sounds like a few new holes and I will be good to go.

Yep just have to drill 4 holes for the HL bucket bottoms. Easy to do.
