Tailgate decals

I'm thinking of putting an F-150 tailgate decal on my 2023 black truck. Has anyone done this? I see they make both thin decals and raised letters. is one better than the other as far as durability and ease of applying? Any opinions are welcome. Thanks Rick

I prefer the polished stainless.

That looks great! Are those the raised letters or this decal style? Were they easy to apply?

Those are Putco brand raised polished stainless. Used some of my points and bought through Ford. Putco has great customer service. One of the letters had a slight blemish and they sent me the whole set very quickly.
I set each letter in position before removing the backing tape then I put painters tape in 2 or more spots for each letter as guidelines to ensure I got the letters positioned properly. You only get one chance to position them correctly. I’m happy with the results.
