do i need to rebuild

I did a compression check yesterday and found 3cylinders had high 160's 4 had mid 150' and 1 was at 145psi. I have herd that they should all be pretty close. The engin is either a 289 or 302 Thanks

heck no not based on that anyway. they should be within 75% of each other. Your compression seems fine to me.

Mine range from 130 to 165 and I ain't planning on doing anything for a long time...still runnin' strong.

rule of thumb is within 15% which you are and those numbers are very good so drive it!!!
