Issues with trans or diffs try this....please read
If you buy a new truck, for the love of God check ALL the fluids including the trans and differentials. I'd Wager that 70% of the transmission "bumps" or other issue are underfilled transmissions. The whining, noises and grinding noises that people say come from differentials on these forums....posts seem like they would be solved right from the beginning if you checked your differential gear oil. Don't be lazy. DO NOT EXPECT the dealer to do it as part of a pdi, they wont....trust me, I've experienced it.

On 24' don't you just get it to 205* iish and loosen the standpipe plug, if it dribbles,it's full if not pull the plug on the passanger side of the case, burn your arm...cuss a bit and pump in fluid until it dribbles out the loosened plug pn tnr pan. Easy peazy
