Raven Topper ID Help Needed
A few months ago, I picked up an old Raven topper for Freeda. It's frikken' YUGE, seems well-built, and has some nice touches like screens on the sliding side windows and carpeted interior.
This is the ID tag on the inside:
I'd love to learn more about it, but my google-fu isn't strong enough. I can't find anything on the internet about the Raven brand, other than it was bought out by Glass-tite a while ago.
Anyone got details or an old catalog or anything?
Thanks!
Then I found this article that mentions that Penda bought Glasstite in approximately October of 1999: https://www.buyoutsinsider.com/penda...arts-platform/ (.PDF attached)
. . . and in yesterday's quest, I found another reference to Raven being bought by and/or otherwise a part of Glasstite. So I pulled at that thread and found this: https://www.aftermarketnews.com/pend...-product-line/ (.PDF attached)
. . . which brought me to this: https://brandfxbody.com/
Then I decided to look up just "glasstite". That brought me to this 2005 Glasstite brochure: https://media.rvusa.com/library/GlasstiteBrochure.pdf (.PDF attached)
On the last page of the brochure they include a link to this page: https://brandfxbody.com/glasstite
Today, this link goes to a [Page not found] page at brandfxbody, but over there on the right in the list of locations included, I see this:
. . . which matches your build tag's "Dunnell, MN 56127":
Looking all the way back to 1985 satellite imagery, it looks like the same types of operations have been going on at this location since then, although their lot is a little more crowded today.
Glad I could save the day, LOL.
