Has anyone used it yet, and how do you like it? I have no idea what it is yet, and don't plan on digging into the truck SYNC today, have too many other things to do. Is it good or a waste of time?
I think it's the 4G wireless feature through the truck. A hotspot, so to speak. I didn't keep it on my Silverado or Sierra and I doubt I'll keep it on this. The signal is better on the trucks, though, due to the external antennas.

It's a bit more than that - it takes some data features you could do with Android Auto or Apple Carplay and add similar functionality to the Sync infotainment system - like streaming music services, news, games, audiobooks, etc. Anyone with a modern smartphone is probably better off using their own cellular data plan and their respective brand of automotive screen sharing.

I think I had something like that with my 2500HD... I was able to use some of my phone's apps right on the truck's screen... I can't do that with my Ford. That makes sense. With Chevrolet, that was part of the OnStar thing, via ATT. I discontinued it after the trial period because, well, my phone already did it.
Well, further digging into this. Its basically Internet for the truck. After 1 year its $10 a month to stay connected. It allows Alexa to comm unicate so it can stream its junk.
