I am looking at ordering a new Super Duty sometime early next year. I am going to do A-plan, so unless I can find a truck in stock somewhere that is exactly right, it doesn't really matter that much which of several local dealers I choose.
So, I was curious if anyone has any experience (good or bad) /recommendations with any Northern NJ dealers. I am particularly interested in info on Village Ford (closest), Pistilli Ford (the most trucks) and Mahwah Ford (sort of in between the other two).
Whichever one you go with, make sure they're Blue Oval Certified. It means they meet the minimum of standards set by Ford. It won't guarantee a "stellar purchase experience" every time, but any dealer that CAN'T meet those standards should be avoided at all costs. Find out if their service department is AAA-approved. While you're at it, call local towing services and see what they think, along with parts suppliers. Dealers that don't pay their bills to these outfits are the same ones that will screw the consumer.
