Help deciphering transmission code

I have what I beleive is a late 70's 4 speed. I know nothing about this unit.
The number off the tag is RUG CS BK 1, and below that D9BRD 0301
My thinking is it is 1979 unit but I want to know what it is. what it is compatible with and if it is any good ie can it handle any power / torque??? Please help guys!

Sorry I can't help much with the id, but is the trans hooked to a motor or just one you had floating around. if it's on the engine, what engine is it. Does the shifter come out the top? Is there a large stick attached or a short unit?

Just fishing for more info.

You're right, it does sound like a light duty application. What would you plan on bolting up in the front of that thing?

I want to know what my options are for this thing.
I am looking to replace a NP-435 farmer 4 speed in my 65
I do not want to go automatic. I am looking for something
with more pleasant gears. I just had this tranny sitting around my
yard with a bunch of parts that came with a 63f100 I bought
for parts for my 65.

What motor do you plan on using? FE or small block? Toploader is a good choice for a 4 speed.

I am staying with the motor that is in now. it is a heavily beefed up 360. I just want to get that power to the wheels a little better
than the old farmer 4speed. I do not want an automatic.
