I have a 1970 F250 with a 390 FE engine in it. Only thing that was done to the truck was an aftermarket 4 barrel carb and intake manifold were installed. Trying to get it back to 100% stock, I'm looking for the correct part number for the original intake manifold. From looking, I found C9AE-9425-B seems to be popping up a lot but unsure. My VIN says my truck was built in October of '69. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!
My .02 unless this will be a trailer queen taken to shows where they will be checking casting numbers for dates I would get one that fits the motor.
Now I am cheap and I dont want to end up in the hospital lifting that heavy manifold I would use what I have and paint the manifold engine color.
If it is marked who makes it you can always grind it off before painting.
Once the carb, air filter, dist. and plug wires, hoses how much will be seen of the manifold?
Other wise the people that know will be by to tell you what you need for the year truck you have.

If you really want a FE 2 barrel intake and carb correct for a pickup, I'll make you a better deal than the ebay guy. But when you're looking to ship 100 pounds, that's not going to be cheap.
Beyond that, I'd agree with fuzzface that a can of blue paint over an aluminum intake will make it look stock, and 99 guys out of 100 will never notice or care.

Is there a reason for the originality? I've literally left 2 of these laying in the dirt on deals for other parts just so I didn't have to lift them . That said this is the part number on my 71 so I think you're correct in that part number. Should be pretty easy to find one.
I was at my local U pull yard today and found a cast 390 intake in the back of a 70 F100. It was a 4 barrel, so I assume off a car and had been put on the truck at one point in time. They wanted $60 for it, seemed a little high for a boat anchor, but there it was. If the OP wanted it I could pick it up and ship it - that's probably gonna cost an arm and leg but the offer is there.

Around here those bring $100 on marketplace. Heavy yes but way cheaper than an aluminum.
