I recently bought a 1989 Bronco II,with 70,000 miles, from the original owner, who is a friend of mine. It's in very good condition, and has always been well maintained.
The only problem, is that the wipers work perfectly most of the time, but very rarely will not work...they never stop while they are on, but on the odd occasion, the wiper switch has no effect.
After a few minutes, we try again and it works.
My friend, the former owner, took the truck in to several mechanics, including the local Ford Dealer, and no one has been able to find a cure. Someone changed some wires which seemed old and brittle, but the problem persists.
Any ideas?
