So I made a post the other day asking for a part identification (thanks to the ones who responded!) After getting some help I have determined this Hughes transmission housing is different than the stock one. It came with a bag of parts labeled steering. Attached are the parts that came with it. The diagram someone sent me shows the housing is different which makes sense why the parts are working
Any ideas on how to make this thing shift? Can I just attach sliver bar to the shifter? Any help would be appreciated and learning as I go
thanks again for the diagram! That’s the issue and where I am trying to find a work around. The housing doesn’t have holes to bolt that part up which I believe is why I am having so much play in it that won’t allow the shifter to do anything.
