I have a 2021 SD and the left directional is blinking 2 times as fast as the right. all the bulbs are lite and I don't have mirror lights. Can anyone explain this, that it only started a month ago.
Thanks for any help it just makes me wonder because something ain't right
Everything is working and all bulbs are stock from the factory
Is the hyper flash only in the instrument cluster but the flash looks like normal speed from the outside? Something is telling the BCM that you have a low voltage situation I think.
Well now... Mine has it and I may be wrong but I don't think that is an option... It's a "safety" thing, so... I still think he should check it again... JMO
EDIT; I went out and checked mine and... From the front, all I could see was clearance lights, no flashing signal lights, from the side and rear I could see the signal lights flashing... So... if he he has clearance lights he should also have signal lights... and if he doesn't have clearance lights, then ignore my post...
Check your taillights again on every function stop, turn and tail. Have someone do it while you watch. You’ll probably find that one of the four isn’t working on one function. I’ve read this a hundred times on here. Happened to me recently so first thing I checked and sure enough. This is assuming you have the incandescent 3157 bulbs.

Sometimes hard to sort things out. The trucks can be optioned so differently.

That's why I mentioned the same thing in post #2. We've seen the problem posted here several times. It's a pain to try and sort this stuff out alone sometimes.
What I,m understanding is if all my lights are flashing at the correct speed and they're all lite it is an electrical problem and mite want the dealer to look at it. hope it is a warranted issue. does that make sense?
Your dash will Hyper flash and the external lights will blink normal speed even when something is wrong, If you have halogen lights it could be a dual filament bulb (like your tail light/brake light) has 1 of the 2 filaments burnt in one of your bulbs. If all filaments in all bulbs are working it could be a loose connection or poor connection somewhere. The computer isn't seeing the electrical draw it expects and is telling you something is wrong by hyper flashing the dash only. Don't forget the 3rd brake light on the top of your cab.....
PTT with A Rod has a video that talks about this issue. The problem was is with one of the trucks computers and he was able to correct the issue. So, I would guess you would need to take it to the dealer, but I would check out the video first, so when you talk to them you can help get the problem resolved.
