Finally saying hello......Hello

Hello from eastern Washington, I'm a run on sentence writing question asking can get long winded life long Ford guy. I've got a 78 250 custom/explorer and a 79 custom/explorer along with my newest purchase a 79 E-150 shorty cargo van that is going to get made into a 70s-80s ******* wagon/boogie wagon and my 84 150 2wd shortbox that I'm currently changing my mind on what my endgame is with it. But it runs drives swapped out that crappy feedback and computer controlled carb and ignition crap (it had been butchered) and am looking for a V8 and 5 spd to swap in. I've gone through and added a tach and painted all the gauges and pointers polished the cover put new column in due to previous owner cutting into wiring, added a sport wheel with the Ford logo horn button and swapped in a factory tinted slider, cleaned up all the wiring built a two snorkel air cleaner and just replaced the overflow/washer pump bottle, currently putting new brake lines on it and have new shocks to install also while on stands should be back on road Saturday, swapped out dumbo ear mirrors for a set of the 80-82 small mirrors that a friend if my dad donated to me off his old 81 that was wrecked in 83, I'm a slotted mags look great in anything guy and after months of searching found a set(looking for 4 E.T acorn centers). Found a center flip down armrest seat in a 91 that was literally rebuilt down to the new springs foam and new upholstery wrapped in plastic not even bolted into floor that I got for 32$ at pull&save but only issue is it's red, RED RED! And my truck is blue on blue the darker less common blue interior I've come to find out so I'm looking for a decent seat cover(any suggestions welcome)that has the opening for armrest or I'll just get one without and use a console from a ranger which I use in other trucks, because it's 750$-1000$ just for having it reupholstered blue and I'm not throwing out a new seat. Going to lower 2-3 in front with springs/shocks and camber bushings and flip kit and use hangers for rear 2-4 drop and enjoy it hopefully find good running V8 and tranny over winter to swap either way I'm gonna drive it next spring-fall and over next year teach myself to paint and next November blow it apart and paint it. It's damn near perfect body wise,no rust no filler from previous accidents which I don't think it's ever been in. a dings in the driver's side light surround and a small push under back window behind driver which I think I can pop back with my hand or a little heat. Going to go a shade or two darker blue metallic maybe with a dark grey two-tone Finish dechroming and paint it powder coat everything dark matte/satin gun metal grey or something like that. I appreciate everyone's answers to question and advice also the criticism of ideas which people need to be able to hear without taking their ball and going home, can't wait to share progress and bounce ideas also share my knowledge where I can. ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A 300 INTAKE AND SET OF SPLIT MANIFOLDS AND ANY OTHER NON CHROME ENGINE DRESS UP PARTS. I'm located in Spokane area but travel to lagrande Or, and hit multiple towns ending in twin falls Id, mon&Tues every week and from Spokane to Tri-Cities and Yakima Wa, Thurs/Fri each week so I cover some ground if anyone needs as anything picked up or dropped off or needs a hand I'm happy to help.

Nice truck!

I especially like the dual cold-air paths into the air cleaner/
