I need help im trying to restore a 1971 or 72 f600 that was a U-Haul truck that was already made into a dump truck. Well it has a 359 hd with a 4 speed trans and i need some wiring diagrams for all the wires please I've looked and looked and im sure someone has asked this a hundred times so im sorry for posting again. But i need help please. I need the dash instrument cluster diagram the color codes the fuse panel diagram everything and anything anyone may be able to provide me with as i have no money and no manuals. Times are tough as to why i need to get this dump truck running like a new one the engine amd everything works awesome and ive put so much new stuff on it and now im tired of messing with the rat nest the previous owner left me with. I had it working and running but you might hit a bump and the thing might just shut plum down then next time maybe all the lights go out amd its 10pm pitch black so yeah please anything would be very very much appreciated.
I have scanned the '73 F600 (and other MD trucks) wiring diagrams and made them available online; iink is near the bottom of this post. '73 was a different chassis than your '71/72, but I bet an awful lot of the wiring is very, very similar.
Note: I've found that people often ask for wiring diagrams, and then can't read them or really use them. They aren't just lines on paper that you can follow like plumbing, but electricity follows different rules, and merely seeing where a wire ought to go doesn't get you very far in troubleshooting, though it's the first step some of the time, esp. when others have been hacking away at the OEM stuff, which was mostly very robust.
