poor gas mileage in cold weather

I guess the computer learns driving habits and adjust after about the time that it takes to run out a tank full.
Maybe the dealers us a secret fuel to tease you on your first tank full!!!!!
Hard to really say for sure.

Hey guys, I'm new to this post and have same problems with my
recently purchaced used 2000 4x4 off road 150. I am no mechanic
a carpenter by trade and have some mechnical knowlege, but when it comes to working on my Tritan V-8, at a loss. Just how would I know if I have a themostat problem, and how much of a
pain in the *** would it be to replace it myself?
Living in New England with recent cold snap, it took 1/2 tank for 150 miles at temps -0! Is this extreme?
