Work on my 300 Continues

Pretty much completed hanging all the accessories on my 4.9L today. Attached a couple of Photos - just to show it really did happen - LOL

Pretty much done now just have to work out mounting of the oil gauge sender in tandem with the fuel pump shut off when oil pressure drops .. Also have an oil pressure gauge I am considering mounting to give me a "real" understanding of oil pressure.

Probably nothing. Just wondering if that distributor is tightened down. The v/advance canister seems to be in the wrong place. In fact, now that I have traced #1 wire, I'm wondering why it is not over close to the dip stick handle. Good luck.

As you stated "Probably nothing" Photo was taken with the Distributor simply dropped into place for the photo.

It also dose not make a difference where the vacuum canister is pointing.
Because of the size of the HEI you cant really have it pointing where the factory DSII would be
At least in my book.
BTW nice looking motor

Dave G - Agreed, in the end I positioned it as shown in the photo, Bottom line - for me - is this position provides maximum adjustability for the timing. Thanks fro the comment on the looks of the engine.
