I was hoping someone could give me some insight. I have a 1990 351w efi with the 2 tube air intake going to the upper manifold. It looks like this.
What I would ideally like to do is change to a setup that has the air breather in the middle. What would be involved? Would I need a different efi than what came with it? Your input is appreciated. Thanks!
Or do you mean something like this? There were a few of these made for the 5.8 but they are getting hard to find now, the upper portion is the same for 5.0 or 5.8 it's the lower that is unique to the engine. And in case you are wondering no you can't just change the upper you have to buy a complete upper/lower set, every one of them has different port sizes and locations and different bolt patterns.

I thought he was referring to an earlier carb type set up with a throttle body injection setup which would be three steps back imo.
