Hello, I have a 2001 F-150 with the 4.2L V6, 2WD with the 4R70W. I have a P0708 DTC code, transmission range sensor circuit A high. My current issues are:
Gear Selector 1 limits to 2nd gear and not 1st (still uses 1st gear, but shfits into 2nd)
Reverse Lights don't work
All gears work fine, reverse, all 4 forward gears, no rough shifts, TC locks up fine and when it should. I've already replaced the sensor, and I had the same issues before as I do now, so I replaced it and nothing changed.
Was it a Ford sensor?
Does it still have the code?
Run through the pinpoint tests for code P0708 in the 2001 PCED, there may be a wiring fault or something else wrong
