1975 fuel filter location

Hello!
I'm new to the forum and could use a hand.
My 75 f250 390 camper special stalls out while driving. It'll start right back up and drive for a bit. I am guessing fuel filter, silly thing is I googled it to try and get an image (so I know what I'm looking for) but it would appear there are 2? A canister one on the fuel pump? (Which I thought was in the tank) And the elusive filter they speak of off some kind of pressure line...

I'm a gal, with about a 2% understanding of mechanical workings. I've googled like crazy to find location of fuel filter, but alas, there are too many options and I am now confused. I could really use a hand with clear step by step instructions. Even pictures! I have zero pride to be crushed

Thanks!
Side note, it's a duel tanker, I only use the front tank, rear is empty.

I suspect it is electrical. A carb wouldn't likely do that fast and slow, no load and loaded, and a plugged filter would cause issues at higher speeds, but not at lower speeds. If a plugged filter caused issues at lower speeds and idle, it wouldn't likely ever be happy at higher speeds if it could achieve them at all.

I replied in your other thread on the issue over in the "1973 - 1979 F-100 & Larger F-Series Trucks" forum with more details.

Welcome aboard!

Carb's have a tendency to over fill and cause flooding issues.
If the carb is rich, you usually can smell the noxious rich running at idle smell.
You most likely have fuel deliver problems if you have good Ignition and Compression.
Most are installing the Holley fuel injectors kit. Keep a 1/2 tank in the other tank for good reasons.
