Done some searching online and here. Short of going and weighing the truck which I will likely do on my way back to Texarkana to get my trailer, I haven't been able to find an estimated curb weight. I've narrowed it down to 7500lbs and 8100lbs.
Anyone here with a similar configuration ever weighed their truck
My trucks cross the scales all the time for work and the math of subtracting payload from gvwr is within +/- 100lbs. Accurate enough to rely on for calculations.
I assumed that would get me in the ball park. I was just curious if anyone had weighed their trucks or if there was any published data.
Calculating the curb weight using the factory stickers on your truck will get you closer than the weight of someone else's truck. This is the as built curb weight and includes a full tank of fuel.
Yep I verified this to be true on my truck by visiting certified CAT scales here locally. My CAT receipt was within 100 lbs. of the stickers on my door jamb, which put me at about 7,800 lbs. curb with 1/2 tank of fuel and me NOT in the truck.
Wait until you set it up the way you want and then see what it weighs. I added a Ranch Hand bumper, hood deflector, bed cover, heavier weight springs, bed mat, different shocks, mud flaps, dual steering stabilizer, adjustable hitch, and replaced the 18” spare with a 20” and now the truck weighs 9100 pounds. Since I had it weighed, I added several auxiliary lights.
I have a 2023 f350 srw 6.7 power stroke 4x4 lariat ultimate with almost every option and the truck weighs about 8050lbs give or take a few.
have a 12k gvwr and roughly 3950lb payload. As others have said you can either go by the sticker and +/- a few pounds or go get it weighed on a scale to be exact.
I haven't weighed this one, but the F450 came out to 9800 pounds, I'm guessing this one will be around 8700 with the cover and bedrug installed. A SRW closer to 7900 would be a rough guess. Its what, a 600 pound difference between SRW and DRW?
