More tire issues
Pulled my insurance app up on my phone and requested roadside assistance.
Best $16 add-on to my insurance premium ever!
Guy showed up about 20 minutes later, and I was on my way again in a little over an hour.
So, dropped the tire/wheel off at my tire guy's shop after getting back from my run. He called me this a.m.to tell me the tire was toast, sidewalls too damaged from running flat to be repairable.
So, down to one good General tire since I had already put my old continentals back on the front.
So, instead of just getting one tire to replace the punctured tire, decided to bite the bullet and replace all 4 tires with new Generals.
Amazon is where I bought the last set, so went on there and they had the best price on them, $224.xx each, have 4 on the way, supposed to be here Friday.
So, to pay for the tires I went to Kroger and bought amazon gift cards to cover the cost, did this because kroger gives double fuel points for amazon gift card purchases, so now have almost 2000 fuel points, which equates to a total of $2 off per gallon of fuel.
Then on top of that, General has a $100 rebate promo going on through the end of October, so will be getting a $100 gift card on top of it all.
But, all in all, I could have done without spending the money and the headache of it all...
And, now everyone knows where to get those tires for a good price and that there is a nice rebate on a set of them to boot!
Now, just wish I could retire...

Also, took the one general tire that was still good, and had it put on the spare, so now if it is needed, it will match the rest.
