I have no idea what you are talking about....Can you be a little more specific? What year, model vehicle. What interior package, (XLT, Eddie Bauer)?

If you have a 2004 radio with a "sat" button it would be for a dealer installed satelite radio system for $329.

If you want to use the SAT button you have to get the dealer installed option.

If you don't want to pay as much for the dealer system you can choose your own after market system, either Sirius or XM. With either one you will have to put some sort of box on your dash.

XM Commander:

XM Roady:

XM SkyFI (What I have)

Sirius Satellite Radio Shuttle

If you go dealer installed you wouldn't have any of these "external receivers" and your factory head unit would control the service.

Oh, I get it now! Yes, that is a dealer installed option only available from Ford.
