E4OD Shift Solenoid Removal Question
I am removing my shift solenoid in my 1989 E4OD. I have removed all the internal torx head screws and one nut. Should it just pull down then? It's not coming easy, and I don't want to break anything.

I’d suspect the seal / oring is stuck in the bore.. might have to give it a little wiggle, and bump from the top. It’s plastic, old, and probably brittle, so don’t hammer on it… take your time with it. If using tools, careful you don’t scratch / gouge the bore.
