I have a 1969 F950 wit the 534 ci engine. Does anyone know if any company makes a kit to covert this engine to a spin-on type oil filter to replace the cartridge type filter it now has?
Also, it is currently equipped with tube-type radial tires, 10:00x20 on 2 piece Budd rims. These are probably original tires and are completely shot. I want to replace these with
22.5 in radial tires on new, one piece rims. What size rims should I be looking for (width) to be about the same as what I have now?
a 7.5x22.5 budd rim can fit a 11rx22.5 tire .I have a 534 in a 81 ,it has a spin on filter .I will try to look at it ,to see if the filter mount is bolted on .if so ,maybe you will be able to buy a filter mount from a newer 475/477-534

I need to know where to get the filter mount. My engine is a 1969 model; yours is newer.
Vander Haags has one listed for $50 .what year did Ford start using spin on filters for their SD gas engines ?look for some one selling a older ford l800-900 ,if the engine is bad ,and the right year ,they might sell that part .make sure your filter canister matches up to a spin on filter mount
