1974 Ford ignition

I have a 1974 Ford F100 Ranger pu 360 ci. have rebuilt the motor. On reinstall, have good spark from coil but not getting to plugs. Points, condenser, cap, rotor, coil, battery, plugs, wires all new. Do have weak spark at plug but not enough to fire the induction timing light. Any suggestions? Have tried 2 batteries, one for starter, one for all else, no go. Have replaced all fusible wires. Have good grounds, redundant grounds installed. Have had alternator checked, OK. New voltage reg. Replaced any wires that looked bad. Cranks easy. Timing at TDC. Point gap set at 17 then down to 10 no change.
Spent many hours!!

The QA on the rotors today can be bad...... check to make sure the contact spring which is suppose to touch the center electrode on the cap....it may not be touching it. Secondly, check to make sure the rotor is fitting all the way down on the distributor shaft...sometime the wedge on the rotor is too wide and will actually keep the rotor sitting up, then it gets stopped by the next cap electrode. Keeping it from rotating.

I saw your other post over in the "1999 to 2016 Super Duty" forum. You might want to post in the "1973 - 1979 F-100 & Larger F-Series Trucks" forum to get some better results.

Welcome aboard!

Did you make your Spark plug wires or purchase Them. Did you use quality Never-seize on the spark plug threads.
My immediate guess is a bad Condenser. Coil spark depends on the Condenser and the proper Coil. My immediate belief is not the right stuff.
My belief is going to a different parts place.
