M5r2 swap
Looking at doing a 5.0 swap in a 1997 ford ranger, and running the m5r2 transmission. From what I gather the 97 plus have the shifter in the better location, but it doesn't have the port for the VSS sensor the ranger runs. Would it work to swap the tail housing and shaft from the older transmission to the newer one?
