i am buying a set of 33x12.50x15 venture M/T's for my truck. ive heard good things about them. try them, you can't beat that price. but i have not looked to much into the AT's.
I've got a set of 6 (two spares) of the 35" Mud Terrains and I really like'em. I thought that they'd be really greasy in the rain, nope. Great in the mud. Seem alright for the little bit of snow I've used them for and I just put on a 3000 mile trip, 2200 miles of it on pavement and the wear was really acceptable. Bit of howl but I kinda like it.
Nice set of boots. The local tire guys (Powell River, BC.) felt that they wore better than BFG and there was less cord separation with them. Better warrenty too.
There, now I can expect to get nuked by the BFG Goon squad. LOL.
I bought the Kumho cause I couldn't get BFG's in a 16" tire cause I wanted to be able to run them at lower pressure without rim locks.
I have 31x10.50x15 Kuhmo ats on my 1994 and theyre alright for street and gravel roads but if you want to go through much more than a couple inches of snow or mud they plug up and its like running slicks. I'm gonna get the new Firestone Destination MT when they come in. I ordered them yesterday.
i have had kumho tires and was very happy with them for the money they really have no eqal will continue to buy them but thats just my opinon try to have a good one deno
