Fuel Pump Driver Module 2006

Looking at a friends truck. It appears the fault may be the FPDM. Watched a few videos showing it on the frame above the spare. None of the internet pictures I see match what I see under the truck. Its a V6 Triton. F150. I was told a 2006. I just don't see it. I see what looks like a rectangular metal cover with a 2 wire connection and fuel lines going into it just behind the cross member. Comments? Thank you.

Thanks guys. I haven't had a chance to get back at it. Everything looked factory. It just looked different from everything I've seen online and I couldn't locate the module. Possibly an 04. Using the VIN should tell me exactly what I'm dealing with though. I appreciate the advice thank you.

This is where I slink away to a different group. It doesn't have a FPDM as its a 98'. At least its a Ford. I guess I'll check the relays. I appreciate it. Thanks again.

Try posting the question in the correct test section for your truck, this is 04-08 section.

I was told that it was an 06'. Searching the VIN# told me different. Not my truck. I usually only work on my own. Learn as I go.
