Hello all, new to the forums but have lurked for a minute. Sorry if this has been answered but I couldn't find anything similar.
My 88' E-150 has been running rough at idle for a bit and recently won't start. After a bit I have made my way to the ECU and came across a few blown capacitors. I'm trying to source a replacement. I went on Cardone's Website and found part number 78-4475 which says it's compatible with my year and engine. The OEM part number it replaces is E8TF12A650BXA
However the one I pulled out is E8TF12A650BX2A
I tried to dig around online to find out what the numbers in the code mean and if it was possible to swap over to the Cardone one as I'm not sure what the relevance of the 2 means. Silly question I know but I figured I'd ask. I'm also having trouble finding BX2A
